Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ digital platform has announced a summer festival to commemorate its 10th anniversary. Between August 18 and 28, a daily one-shot will be released by renowned mangakas such as Taizan 5 and Asato Mizu. In addition, all chapters will be available in English through MANGA Plus.

Release schedule

During the ten days of celebration, each day will bring a new special work. The full list of releases is as follows:

  • Fighting Girls – Taizan 5 (available now)
  • Nurudenohana High School Lotion Sumo Club – Asato Mizu
  • The Hero Costume Can't be Washed – Hiroshi Shimomoto
  • A Day in the Lives of Two Princesses – Mapollo 3
  • SLAPPY – Yūjirō Koyama
  • Chalk-Written Love – Akari Kajimoto
  • Sweet Little Mermaid! – Teppei Fukushima
  • Career Day Adventures – Chanta
  • Linear Seven – HAKOISSE
  • Battle-Ready Salesman – Waka Oshiishi

Surprises for the anniversary

The festival will not be the only novelty for the anniversary. In July, the launch of a mobile video game titled Jump+ Jumble Rush was confirmed, which will arrive on iOS and Android in autumn 2024.

In addition, Shueisha revealed that studios such as Wit StudioContrail and Production I.G will adapt some of these one-shots into anime as part of the commemoration. This initiative reinforces Shonen Jump+'s role as one of the pillars of the digital manga industry.

A ten-year journey

Since its launch in late 2014, Shonen Jump+ has established itself as a key platform for new generations of authors and readers. In August 2024, MANGA Plus confirmed that it will begin simultaneously publishing all one-shots released on the Japanese service in English, further expanding the global reach of these stories.
