Production
company Kadokawa announced that The Rising of the
Shield Hero's "Q'ten Lo Arc" will officially
begin in episode 7 of the fourth season. Along with the news, a new promotional
video was published that anticipates the next events in the story.

details
The fourth
season premiered on July 9 on Japanese channels such as AT-X,
TOKYO MX, Sun Television, KBS, and TV Aichi, in addition to platforms such as
Lemino and the Anime Store. In Spain, the series can be seen on Crunchyroll,
which also offers English dubbing.

Hitoshi
Haga returns
from the third season as director, working again with the Kinema Citrus studio. Keigo
Koyanagi is back in charge of the scripts, while character design is
being carried out by Franziska van Wulfen, Sana Komatsu and Masahiro
Suwa.
For his
part, Kevin Penkin resumes musical composition with Alfredo
Sirica and Natalie Jeffreys. In this installment, Takanori
Yamamoto assumes the role of assistant director. As for the
cast, Takeo Ōtsuka as Werner and Jirō
Saitō as Jaralis are added.
A review
of the franchise
The
Rising of the Shield Hero anime debuted in January 2019 with a two-hour
special and a total of 25 episodes. Subsequently, the second season arrived
in April 2022, while the third aired in October 2023 with
12 episodes. All of them were available on Crunchyroll simultaneously
with their broadcast in Japan.
About
the original work
The story
comes from the light novels by Aneko Yusagi, also adapted into
manga by Aiya Kyu. In Spain and Latin America, the work is
distributed by One Peace Books in English. The plot
follows Naofumi Iwatani, an otaku without charisma who is
transported to a parallel world to become one of the four heroes destined to
save it. However, as the Shield Hero, considered the weakest, he is
soon betrayed and abandoned, being forced to fight with ingenuity and
determination to fulfill his destiny.
