Tougen Anki Reveals New Nerima Arc Trailer With Cast And Themes

Distributor REMOW unveiled a new trailer, promotional image, and additional cast for the "Nerima Arc" of the anime Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise, an adaptation of Yura Urushibara's manga. This new arc will begin airing in October 2025. The preview also allowed us to hear the main themes: the opening "AMIDAKUJI" performed by CHOGAKUSE and the ending theme "ACTION" by eill.



New additions to the cast


Among the characters that will debut in this arc are:


  • Atsushi Tamaru as Masumi Yodogawa (Oni Agency)
  • Haruki Ishiya as Kaoru Namikido (Oni Agency)
  • Shunichi Toki as Mikado Momodera (Momotara Agency)
  • Chiharu Sawashiro as Shinya Momoiwa (Momotaro Agency)
  • Shintarō Asanuma as Tsukuyomi Momoka (Momotar Agency)
  • Yūki Ono as Osuke Momokado (Momotar Agency)

International availability


The anime originally debuted on July 11, 2025, and is available on multiple platforms such as Crunchyroll, Netflix, Prime Video, Anime Onegai, Bilibili, DNA, and more. In the case of Prime Video, the series is available worldwide except in Japan and mainland China, while on Netflix it is offered globally outside Japan. In addition, Crunchyroll streams the series with English dubbing.


The project also features a companion anime titled Onimomomomo, whose episodes premiere weekly alongside the main series.


Production Staff


The anime is directed by Ato Nonaka at Studio Hibari, with Hiroyuki Hashimoto as assistant director. Yukie Sugawara oversees the scripts, while Ryoko Amisaki is in charge of character design. The music is composed by Kohta Yamamoto and produced by Pony Canyon.


The main themes of the first part of the series were in charge of THE ORAL CIGARETTES with the opening "Overnight" and BAND-MAID with the ending "What is justice?".


Manga and its adaptations


The Tougen Anki manga began in June 2020 in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine and has already accumulated 26 compilation volumes, with the most recent scheduled for October 8, 2025. In English, Yen Press has been publishing the work since September 2024, and will release the fourth volume on October 28, 2025.


The franchise has also inspired plays in Tokyo and Osaka, with the first in February 2024 and a sequel in January 2025.
