The
production team of the anime Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right (Chanto
Suenai Kyūketsuki-chan), based on the manga by Kyōsuke Nishiki,
announced that veteran voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi will
play Misuzu Kirimine. The news was accompanied by a special character video.
A
premiere scheduled for October
The series
will air starting in October 2025 on networks such as Tokyo
MX, Kansai TV, BS Asahi, and AT-X, in
addition to various streaming platforms such as U-NEXT. The
anime will feature a prominent cast led by:
- Minami Tanaka as Luna Ishikawa,
a vampire sophomore student unable to suck blood properly.
- Kenshō Ono as Tatsuta Ōtori,
a classmate who discovers Luna's secret and becomes her "mom" to
help her practice.
- M.A.O as Eiko Sakuma.
- Ikumi
Hasegawa as Misa Kusunoki
- Katsumi
Fukuhara as Daichi Chiba
- Yūya
Hirose as Satoru Deguchi
- Shion

Production and music team
The
direction is in charge of Sayaka Yamai (Dungeon People, Fantasy
Bishōjo Juniku Ojisan to) at the feel studio. The scripts
are supervised by Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream!, Given),
while the character design is the work of Takuya Tani (Muv-Luv
Alternative). The soundtrack will be composed by Tomoki Kikuya (Hidamari
Sketch), with music production by Lantis.
The
opening, titled "Seishun no Silhouette," will be
performed by the group H△G, while the
ending, "Senkō Hanabi," will feature the
collaboration of Minami Tanaka, voice of the protagonist.
From the
pages to the anime
Nishiki's
manga debuted in Monthly Dragon Age magazine in May
2021 and has eight volumes published until April
2025. The work ended on August 8, although it will have a spin-off
of three chapters in the November edition of the magazine. The ninth
and final compilation volume will be released in October 2025.
Kadokawa publishes the work in Japan
and also released chapters in digital format on BookWalker Global since June
20. In the West, Yen Press licenses the manga under the
same title, having published its first volume on July 22, 2025.
