The Gachiakuta anime
continues to expand its cast with highly prestigious names. The official
account in X announced that Mamoru Miyano, known for roles in
series such as TO BE HERO X, will voice the master craftsman of the
Cleaners. For her part, Yuko Sanpei, recognized for playing Boruto
in BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS, WILL PLAY Remlin,
the current Sorceress of Canvas Town. Both characters will make their first
appearance in episode 9, scheduled for Sunday, September 7 at 5:30
p.m. in Spain.
Production
of Gachiakuta
The project
is directed by Fumihiko Suganuma (Dragon Quest: The
Adventure of Dai), with Hiroshi Seko (Dan Da Dan)
composing the series. Character design and animation direction are in the hands
of Satoshi Ishino (Godzilla Singular Point). The
animation is in charge of the prestigious Bones Film studio.
The original manga was created by Kei Urana in collaboration
with graffiti artist Hideyoshi Ando.
Synopsis
of Gachiakuta
In a
floating city, the rich live in abundance while the poor survive in precarious
conditions. Everything that the elite discards ends up thrown into the
abyss. Rudo, a young man from the slums, is unjustly accused of
murder and sentenced to exile, being thrown along with the garbage to the
bottom of the world. There, in a territory plagued by monsters created by human
waste, he will discover new powers and join the Cleaners, a group
that fights against the beasts of the pit. His goal: to survive, unravel the
truth and take revenge on those who betrayed him.
