The Neon
Genesis Evangelion franchise will commemorate its 30th
anniversary with an event titled Monthly Eva EVANGELION 30th
MOVIE Fest. 2025-2026, which will bring all six films in the saga back to
the big screen. Screenings will be held in theaters across Japan between October
2025 and February 2026, with screenings limited to one
week for each film.

The
festival will present a different film each month (two in October) in special
remastered versions:
- October 10-16, 2025: Neon Genesis Evangelion:
Death & Rebirth – "DEATH (TRUE)² & REBIRTH" version.
- October 24-30, 2025: The End of Evangelion.
- November 14-20, 2025: Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not)
Alone – version 1.11.
- December 12-18, 2025: Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not)
Advance – version 2.22.
- January 9 to 15, 2026: Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not)
Redo – version 3.33, plus the short films EVANGELION: 3.0
(-120min.) and EVANGELION: 3.0 (-46h).
- February 13-19, 2026: Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice
Upon a Time – version 3.0+1.01.
Promotional
material and extras
To
accompany this return to theaters, attendees will receive smartphone-sized
stickers with the visuals of the posters of each film as an exclusive
gift. In addition, a special trailer is now available on
Studio Khara's official YouTube channel that anticipates the magnitude of this
celebration.
Tribute
to the anime legend
With this
initiative, Evangelion not only relives key moments in its
cinematic history, but also offers new generations the opportunity to live in
theaters the experience of one of the most influential anime franchises.
The Monthly Eva Fest will undoubtedly be a must-attend event
for fans of Hideaki Anno's work.
