Mangaka's
Weirdly Wonderful Workplace continues to prepare its premiere on Japanese television and now
surprises with a new preview full of news. The team behind the adaptation
revealed a second promotional video that not only allows for new scenes from
this particular work comedy, but also features the official ending theme
titled "Thankful," performed by Sizuk.
In addition, the details of its international broadcast have been shared.
Premiere
date confirmed for October
The series
based on Kuzushiro's original manga will officially arrive
on October 6. The story promises a comedic and endearing look at
the daily dynamics of an eccentric editorial work environment, exploring the
routine of a team full of unique personalities.
A manga
that went from one-shot to phenomenon
The project
began as a simple one-shot published in Kodansha's Kiss magazine
in 2019, but immediate success led to its continued serialization on the
publisher's Comic Days app and portal. Since then, the play
has managed to establish itself as one of the most beloved comedies in
Kodansha's modern catalog. In fact, the 13th volume of the
manga will be published on September 19, thus expanding the material for fans
who want to get ahead of the anime.
The
appeal behind this work comedy
Unlike
stories focused on the drama of the creative process, A Mangaka's
Weirdly Wonderful Workplace is committed to highlighting the lightness
and absurd moments of a group of mangakas and editors. From bizarre arguments
to small daily triumphs, each episode aims to reflect what it means to work in
an environment as chaotic as it is endearing. This combination of humor and
warmth explains why the manga has maintained a loyal readership for more than
five years.
