Bandai
Namco Filmworks opened the official website for the anime adaptation of Marriagetoxin,
a manga written by Joumyaku and illustrated by Mizuki Yoda. The announcement
confirmed that the series will premiere in 2026 and included a first visual
teaser and a promotional video.

cast and production staff
The
starring cast will feature Haruki Ishiya (Hibike! Euphonium)
as Hikaru Gero and Shion Wakayama (Dandadan)
as Mei Kinosaki. As for the creative team, the following names

About
the manga
Marriagetoxin began publishing on the Shounen
Jump+ platform in April 2022. The work, which mixes action with
romantic comedy and dark overtones, follows a murderer trained since childhood
who, forced to marry to ensure the continuity of his clan, decides to seek an
authentic relationship instead of following the dictates of his family.
To date,
publisher Shueisha has released 14 compilation volumes, the most
recent in August 2025, while volume 15 is scheduled to be
published on October 3.
The
announcement of its adaptation has generated great expectation, especially for
the participation of Bones, a studio known for titles such as Boku
no Hero Academia and Mob Psycho 100.
