The WATANARE phenomenon

Mikami's play, which mixes college comedy with a yuri romance full of entanglements, quickly became a cult title among fans of the genre. The anime's first season drew attention for its light tone and colorful visual style, which allowed it to gain popularity outside of Japan thanks to streaming platforms.

What is known about the sequel

REMOW accompanied the announcement with a first trailer and a new promotional image. While no details have yet been given about the plot of Next Shine, it is expected that the story will give direct continuity to the events of the television anime and continue to explore the relationship between its protagonists.
