The author of Kanojo Okarishimasu, Reiji Miyajima, recently responded to a comment on social networks that questioned the length of his manga, after it reached the 42 volumes, the same amount as Dragonball.
Comparison with Dragonball generates debate
A user posted on X (formerly Twitter): “I can't help but feel sad about the decline of this country seeing that the number of volumes of KanoKari it already equaled that of Dragonball”. The message alluded to the fact that, while Goku he defeated numerous enemies and saved the world in that many volumes, Kazuya he still can't conquer Chizuru.
Reiji Miyajima's response
The comment reached his own Miyajima, who responded directly: “The characters just didn't do what I wanted, and before I knew it, the story had already reached so many volumes”.
