The movie Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc it remained in first place at the Japanese box office for the sixth consecutive week, from October 24 to 26, according to reports from Kogyo Tsushinsha. The film sold 254,000 tickets and collected 399,302,600 yen (approximately $2.62 million) over the weekend, reaching a cumulative total of 7,179,310,100 yen (about 47.15 million dollars) with 4.69 million attendees since its premiere.
The film, produced by MAPPA and distributed by Toho, premiered on September 19, replacing Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle: Akaza Sairai, which led the box office for nine consecutive weeks. In its first weekend, Chainsaw Man sold 807,000 tickets and generated 1,251 million yen (8.46 million dollars). 
Shinkai's return with 5 Centimeters Per Second
