The
publisher Shufu to Seikatsu Sha announced that the manga Ikyo
no Tsumenuri Minarai (Apprentice Nail Artist in a Foreign Land),
written by Marukawa, will receive an anime adaptation. The
statement did not specify the format of the project.
The series
began in Comic PASH! magazine in 2022. To date, it
has five compiled volumes published, the most recent being released on January
10. The sixth volume is scheduled to premiere next Friday.
The plot
follows Keiko Sahara, an office worker who is fond of gel nail
design. After being transported to a world where magic comes from nail art, her
talent is discovered by a magical artist, who makes her his apprentice.
