The journey of the former second-in-command of the Dark Kingdom is coming to an end. Through the launch of the twelfth compilation volume from manga The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! (Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!), it was announced that the work will conclude with its next installment. The final volume, number 13, is scheduled for release fall 2026.
Wakame Konbu he launched this comedy in the magazine Gangan Joker of Square Enix in March 2017. The story of Jahy, who must work and survive in the human world after losing his powers, gained enough popularity to inspire an anime adaptation in july 2021, which was transmitted by Crunchyroll.
New projects by the author
Although Jahy says goodbye, Wakame Konbu does not stop. The author, who finished her other manga The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious in September 2023, he already has his next work prepared.
