The brilliance of this school romance is far from fading. Immediately after the broadcast of the final episode of the first season this Friday, the official website of the anime adaptation of A Star Brighter Than the Sun (Taiyou yori mo Mabushii Hoshi) officially announced that the production of a second season has been greenlit.
To commemorate the news, the creator of the original manga, Kazune Kawahara (also known as Ore Monogatari!!), posted a special thank-you illustration for fans. Although excitement is high, a specific release date for this sequel has not yet been revealed.
