The school idols of the smartphone era make the leap to the big screen. The official website for the 3D anime film Love Live! Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club Bloom Garden Party revealed its first teaser, key visual, and production details on Sunday. The announcement confirmed that the film will be released in Japanese theaters on May 8, 2026.
The project has a high-level creative team in the Sublimation studio. The direction is in charge of Go Kurosaki (Shikizakura), while the script is written by the acclaimed Fumiaki Maruto (creator of Saekano and Engage Kiss). The character designs are adapted by Haruko Iizuka (Horimiya), and the music is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Mushoku Tensei).
About the project
The group Hasu no Sora Jōgakuin School Idol Club is part of the Love Live! franchise and originated primarily from the smartphone app Link! Like! Love Live! launched in 2023. The project stands out for allowing fans to experience the story "in real time" together with the idols during the 365 days of the school year.
