The mission to find a mate has never been so lethal. The official website of the anime adaptation of Marriagetoxin confirmed on Tuesday that the series will premiere in April 2026 through Kansai TV and Fuji TV. The announcement was accompanied by the first promotional video, a key visual and the reveal of six new cast members joining this Studio Bones production.

production
The anime
is in the hands of Bones Film (a division of the prestigious
Bones studio), with the direction of Motonobu Hori (Super
Crooks). The scripts and composition of the series are in charge of Kimiko
Ueno (Dungeon Meshi), while Kohei Tokuoka designs
the characters. Music promises to be a strong point with the collaboration
of Taisei Iwasaki (Kekkai Sensen) and Yuma
Yamaguchi.
Synopsis
Based on
the manga by Joumyaku and Mizuki Yoda serialized
in Shonen Jump+, the story follows Gero, a hitman from the poisoner
clan who, in order to save his sister and continue his lineage, is forced to
find a wife with the help of the marriage scammer Kinosaki.
