The story follows Hajime, a 29-year-old adventurer who, after saving a girl named Rirui from a monster, discovers that she has been abandoned and has nowhere else to go. Upon taking her in, he realizes that Rirui is not a normal girl, thus beginning an unusual cohabitation.
