News explosion!
The fan-favorite isekai comedy is back. During a special program held today to
commemorate the anime's 10th anniversary, the production of
the fourth season of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This
Wonderful World! was officially announced.
The event was
attended by the main cast: Jun Fukushima (voiced by Kazuma
Sato), Sora Amamiya (Aqua), Rie Takahashi (Megumin),
and Ai Kayano (Darkness), who celebrated the longevity
and continued success of the series.
Rain of
announcements for the anniversary
In addition to the
new season, the franchise revealed a number of projects for 2026:
- A new official game with an
original story for PC and mobile, scheduled to launch this year.
- An in-person anniversary event on July
26, 2026.
- A great display in the fall of 2026.
- The double release of new novels on February
28, 2026.
- A song box and a new original audio drama.
Animation
Career
The franchise has
passed through several hands throughout its history. The first two seasons were
produced by Studio DEEN, while the film Legend of Crimson (2019)
was the work of J.C. Staff. Most recently, Studio Drive handled
the Megumin spin-off and season three, cementing the show's current aesthetic.
