What seemed like a
quiet weekend for Teyvat travelers has turned into an absolute chaos of
excitement and theories. The Genshin Impact community has
exploded after an accidental leak from an official source: the PlayStation
China store has prematurely revealed the debut of the mysterious Tsaritsa,
the Cryo Archon and supreme leader of the Fatui.

The
PlayStation "intern" mistake
The slip occurred
on the promotional page for the upcoming update, Version 6.3 "Luna
IV", scheduled to be released globally on January 14,
2026. A promotional image, which has since been removed, showed an
unmistakable silhouette: a female figure with a crown, wrapped in a white fur
cloak and surrounded by floating ice crystals.
The attached text
left no room for doubt. The Japanese phrase (romaji) read: "Getsusou
4 wa ichigatsu juuyokka ni kaishi, koori no joou toujou!" The
direct translation is devastating for spoiler haters: "Luna IV begins on
January 14, the Ice Empress (Tsaritsa) debuts!"
Playable
character or historical cinematic?
Although HoYoverse has
not commented, the PlayStation store's history of accurate leaks lends almost
total credibility to the event. However, the debate now focuses on the
"how".
Will Tsaritsa be
a surprise playable character in the 6.3 banners? Or is it a stellar appearance
in a cinematic related to the plot of Snezhnaya or the story
of Columbina? The community is divided, but the euphoria is
unanimous. "If we see the Ice Empress in Luna IV, I'll die," fans
comment on networks, while others ironically thank the PlayStation employee for
the anticipated "gift".
With the release
date just around the corner, there are only a few days left to confirm if we
will finally know the face of the goddess who has pulled the strings since the
beginning of the game.
