Romance
will blossom in the midst of war and death this summer. The production team of
the anime of I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day (Kimi
ga Shinu made Koi wo Shitai) revealed this Friday that the series will
officially premiere in July. Along with the announcement of the
date, a key visual was presented that sets the melancholic tone of the work.

adaptation is being produced by the ROLL2 studio under the
direction of Takudai Kakuchi. A highlight is the participation
of Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Steins; Gate)
in overseeing and writing the scripts, which promises a solid narrative. The
music will be composed by Yukari Hashimoto.

The story
transports us to a mysterious orphanage where death is a daily occurrence and
girls are raised as weapons of war. Sheena, who only wishes for the
conflict to end, meets Mimi, a girl covered in blood who smiles at
the chaos and is rumored to be an "immortal secret weapon."
When the
two become roommates, Sheena's world is complicated by falling in love with
someone who accepts death, just as she tries to stop her.
Nachi
Aano's manga
began in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine in
2018. A volume of short stories will be released on January 29.
