A decade has passed since the armored train first departed. To commemorate this milestone, the Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (Koutetsujou no Kabaneri) tenth anniversary project has been officially launched. Under the slogan "A journey of a decade", the franchise will deploy a series of initiatives to revisit its legacy.

The main celebration will begin on April 4 with a special campaign at the Noitamina store and café theater, located in Aqua City Odaiba. The event will feature exhibits, exclusive merchandise, collaborative menus and screenings of fan-curated episodes.

In addition to the physical events, the project will bring back the official radio show Kabaneri Tours, which originally aired during the anime's broadcast in 2016. The program will be available for a limited time and will be broadcast exclusively within Noitamina's facilities in the second half of the campaign.

Messages from the team and cast

To mark the occasion, the director and lead voice actors shared emotional reflections, even highlighting the real-life marriage between the protagonists:

Tasuku Hatanaka (Voice of Ikoma):

"Ten years have passed for all of us... If possible, I'd love to meet Ikoma and Mumei once again. I sincerely hope that the day will come when I can play Ikoma again."

Sayaka Senbongi (Voice of Mumei):

"What I experienced on set back then became the foundation that has sustained me during these ten years... I hope the play will continue to meet many new people in the future."

Tetsuro Araki (Director):

"What made this work most precious to me is that the two actors who played Ikoma and Mumei got married in real life... Seeing the two of them during filming and tuning into the characters based on their presence means that there is something real in this play."
