The
development of young Kunon's magical abilities enters a new stage. The
production team of the anime adaptation of Kunon the Sorcerer Can See (Majutsu-shi
Kunon wa Mieteiru) began airing a second promotional video on Friday
focused specifically on its upcoming story arc: the "School of
Magic."
The series,
which originally debuted on January 4 on Japanese networks such as Tokyo MX and
WOWOW, is currently on air and is broadcast in simulcast for
international audiences through the Crunchyroll platform.

is produced by the Platinum Vision studio under the direction
of Hideaki Ōba. The musical themes that accompany the adventure
include the opening "Rakenaria no Yume" performed
by Isekaijoucho, and the ending theme "Story

About
the work
The story
follows Kunon, a boy who was born blind and whose greatest goal is
to become the first person to use water magic to create new eyes. With
unwavering determination, after only five months of study, he manages to
surpass his teacher. His magical mastery not only allows him to
"feel" colors, but to create useful objects and conjure complex
shapes. His wit soon caught the attention of the court, earning him a position
as a disciple of the kingdom's most powerful magician.
The light
novels, written by Umikaze Minamino and illustrated by Laruha,
began web publication on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō site in August
2021, where they dominated the overall rankings in 2022. The adaptation to the
physical format is edited by Kadokawa.
