The definitive
deconstruction of the superhero genre is preparing for its denouement.
Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine announced Monday that
the finale of Sentai Daishikkaku (known internationally
as Go! Go! Loser Ranger!) It will officially begin at this year's
16th edition, scheduled to launch on March 18, 2026.
Before
starting this last act, the series will take a brief three-week hiatus,
absenting itself from issues 13 to 15 of the magazine. This time will allow the
author to prepare the closure of the story, which has accelerated its narrative
rhythm in recent volumes.
Sentai
Daishikkaku Ending Details
The work
of Negi Haruba, also author of The Quintessential
Quintuplets, has maintained strong momentum thanks to its anime adaptation,
the second season of which aired earlier this year on Disney+.
The current
plot has resolved conflicts with key antagonists and important figures from
the Dragon Keepers, leading readers to speculate that this final
act will function as an extended epilogue focused on emotional resolutions and
the closure of outstanding plot threads, rather than a new long-running saga.
About
the work
The manga
debuted in 2021 and has stood out for its dark parody and criticism of Super
Sentai-type hero shows. The story follows Soldier D, a
low-ranking member of the invading "Kaijin" forces, who infiltrates
the Ranger organization to expose that the supposed defense of humanity is
actually an orchestrated farce.
With more
than 20 volumes published, the series has evolved from an action comedy to a
complex drama about morality, media manipulation and rebellion against corrupt
systems.
