The most
chaotic and irregular Holy Grail War on American soil refuses to give us a
break. During the frenetic weekend of AnimeJapan 2026, the committee behind the
animated adaptation of Fate/strange Fake dropped a bombshell
in the form of a new trailer and a promotional poster, confirming that the
magical carnage will continue with a new batch of episodes. After leaving us
with long teeth at the beginning of the year, the battle in the city of
Snowfield is barely about to show its true and lethal face.
For the
peace of mind of the most purists of the Nasuverse, the production will
continue under the command of the same animation studio that blew our minds
with the previous chapters. The plan is for much of the main technical team to
return intact to maintain that gloomy atmosphere and tremendous fluidity in the
clashes of the heroic spirits. The new trailer doesn't mince words and throws
us straight into the action, picking up exactly where we left off. For its
part, the released promotional image gives us some quite imposing poses of the
key characters who are pulling the strings in the shadows of this conflict.
About
Fate/strange Fake
In case
you're lost in the vast multiverse of Type-Moon, this story drags us to the
United States, where a fake and trap-filled version of the mythical Holy Grail
War is taking place. Far from the traditional rules of Fuyuki, here we see
sorcerers of dubious morals and broken Servants killing each other for the
ultimate prize, all while government and magical factions try to manipulate the
result in their favor.
Among all
this tactical disaster, we closely follow the adventures of totally
unpredictable wizards such as Flat Escardos, who along with his peculiar
Servant, is dragged to the center of this bloody conspiracy without having the
slightest idea of the magnitude of the danger that surrounds them.
