The nakamas' patience is about to be more than rewarded after this long drought of Sundays without episodes. During the franchise's panel at AnimeJapan 2026, Toei Animation released a new promotional trailer that confirms the start of the long-awaited Elbaph arc in the One Piece animated adaptation. This preview not only gives us a first look at the land of giants, but marks the end of the three-month hiatus that the series took after concluding Egghead, setting its return to television for April 5.

Production Details

The new stage of this immense pirate journey will be broadcast through the Fuji TV signal and will reach our region by the hand of Crunchyroll. A crucial fact that fans should take into account is the recent change in Toei Animation's production rhythm, limiting broadcasts to a maximum of 26 episodes per year starting in 2026 to ensure top-notch animation. As for the musical section, the trailer allowed us to listen to a fragment of "Luminous", the new opening performed by the singer Aina The End, while the ending will be titled "Sono Mirai" and will be in charge of the rock band 36km/h.

Voice cast

In addition to the crew of the Straw Hats, the trailer confirmed the imminent arrival of one of the most enigmatic figures of this arc, adding a true heavyweight of the dubbing industry:

  • Yuichi Nakamura as Loki
Recognized for voicing Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen and Hawks in My Hero Academia.
