The
nakamas' patience is about to be more than rewarded after this long drought of
Sundays without episodes. During the franchise's panel at AnimeJapan 2026, Toei
Animation released a new promotional trailer that confirms the start of the
long-awaited Elbaph arc in the One Piece animated adaptation.
This preview not only gives us a first look at the land of giants, but marks
the end of the three-month hiatus that the series took after concluding
Egghead, setting its return to television for April 5.

The new
stage of this immense pirate journey will be broadcast through the Fuji TV
signal and will reach our region by the hand of Crunchyroll. A crucial fact
that fans should take into account is the recent change in Toei Animation's
production rhythm, limiting broadcasts to a maximum of 26 episodes per year
starting in 2026 to ensure top-notch animation. As for the musical section, the
trailer allowed us to listen to a fragment of "Luminous", the new
opening performed by the singer Aina The End, while the ending will
be titled "Sono Mirai" and will be in charge of the rock band 36km/h.
