Planting
carrots in another world has never brought so many voice stars together in one
place. We finally have the second trailer for Farming Life in Another
World season 2 (Tochi's Isekai or Katte Noujou or Tsukurou).
And boy did the production committee decide to spend the entire budget on voice
talent. This new trailer gives us a much clearer look at the new faces that
will come to disrupt the supposed peace of Hiraku Machio in his farming
community.
Slice of
life purists
can breathe easy, as the same animation studio that relaxed us with the first
installment is still at the helm of this sequel. The new promotional video does
an excellent job of showing us the expansions of agricultural land and how
history picks up exactly where we left off. In addition, it is a fact that much
of the original technical staff returned to the offices to maintain that vibe
of light comedy and uncomplicated fantasy that characterizes the original
novels written by Kinosuke Naito and drawn by Yasumo.
About
Farming Life in Another World
For those
who are lost and don't understand why a plowing anime has so many fans, the
plot follows a poor Japanese office worker who dies from overwork. As an
apology, a god reincarnates him into a fantasy world with a healthy body and a
divine farming tool. Instead of going hunting the Demon King like any average
isekai protagonist, he decides to go to the middle of the forest to build a
farm in peace.
Obviously,
his long-awaited "quiet life" goes to hell quite quickly when
vampires, angels, elves, dragons and all kinds of creatures begin to move into
his land, turning his humble orchard into one of the most powerful and absurd
communities in the entire world.
