The novels Suterare Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi confirm their anime adaptation

Unusual skills can be the key to the ultimate culinary adventure. It has been officially announced that the light novel series Suterare Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi (The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World) will feature a television anime adaptation, which is scheduled to premiere this year.


The revelation, shared by the company Happinet, came accompanied by a first promotional image. In addition to confirming the voice actor duo that will lead the series, the production committee presented the technical team that will give life to this gastronomic journey in a fantasy world.

The animation production is in the hands of the EMT Squared studio, with the assistance of the Ankichi Kobo company. The general direction of the project is Atsushi Nigorikawa. For his part, Takashi Aoshima assumes responsibility for the composition of the series and the scripts, while Izumi Ishii adapts the original character designs created by Akane Nito to the animation.

Sora Tokui (Voice of Rin):

About the work


The plot follows Rin Takanashi, a thirty-year-old office worker who is fond of camping and tabletop role-playing games. Her life takes a turn when she is invoked as a saint to another world with a high school student. However, the prince considers her "Motorhome" and "Survival" abilities to be useless, immediately exile her. Far from being discouraged, Rin finds that her skills are incredibly useful in this environment, summoning her dream vehicle to embark on a solitary journey filled with cooking and new companions.


The original story, written by Yoneori and illustrated by Akane Nito, began web publication in 2019 before being acquired by Kadokawa publishing house in 2020 for physical distribution. The franchise also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Nana Kogami, which released its fourth compilation volume in print in May of this year.
