The most ambitious harem in animation continues to expand its ranks at a rapid pace. It has been officially announced that the anime adaptation of the romantic comedy The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You (Kimi no koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo) will return to television with a third season, scheduled to premiere in July.

The update was accompanied by the publication of a new promotional trailer. This short clip offers a first preview of the voices of two brides-to-be who will join the cast: Chiyo Iin and Naddy. The production committee confirmed that the identities of the seiyuus behind these characters will be formally revealed on March 28 during a special panel at the AnimeJapan 2026 event. Additionally, the video features the insertion theme "Hakobune: 100-nin Nottemo Daijobu," performed by the choral group of the Rentaro Family.

To maintain the visual and narrative consistency of the previous installments, the Bibury Animation Studio will continue to be in charge of animation production. The musical section is managed by the production company Lantis.

About the work

The story follows Rentaro Aijo, a high school student who, after being rejected multiple times, discovers through a divine error that he is destined to meet 100 soulmates. However, there is a lethal condition: if she rejects any of them or fails to reciprocate her feelings, the girl in question will suffer a tragic end. To avoid this fate, Rentaro decides to date everyone simultaneously, unleashing a daily life full of chaos, comedy and romance with a group of extremely diverse girlfriends.

The original work, written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa, began serialization in the pages of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in December 2019. The success of the franchise prompted an animated first season in 2023 and a second installment that concluded its broadcasts earlier this year.
