The curtain
is about to close on the current stage in the entertainment industry. It has
been officially announced that the third season of the anime adaptation
of Oshi no Ko will conclude its broadcasts with a special
one-hour episode, scheduled to air on Japanese television on March 25.
During the production of this third installment, the committee presented specific adjustments in its technical team. The group of chief animation directors included Kanna Hirayama, Ayaka Muroga, Kimiaki Mizuno, Shuri, Rina Morita, Haruka Inade and Hirono Nishiki. Likewise, Kenji Sawada was appointed as the only main animator of the season.

the franchise
The
animated adaptation began its journey in April 2023 debuting with a special
90-minute feature film, quickly positioning itself in the industry. Its success
led to the production of a second season premiering in July 2024, which spanned
the acclaimed arc of the stage play "Tokyo Blade," delving into the
complexities of acting and stage production.
The
original work, written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo
Yokoyari, began serialization in the pages of Shueisha's Weekly
Young Jump magazine in April 2020. After more than four years of
publication, the story reached its final conclusion in November 2024, compiling
the entirety of its plot in sixteen volumes printed in the Japanese market.
