Kimetsu no Yaiba reveals the release date of its physical film

The amazing action sequences of the ufotable studio will make the leap to high-definition physical formats this summer. The production company Aniplex confirmed that the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Part 1 will land in the Japanese market in Blu-ray and DVD editions on July 29, 2026, opening its official pre-order period from April 18.

To reward the community's loyalty to this popular shonen, the limited edition will include a storage box with a new illustration by Akira Matsushima, character designer and chief animation director. The unpublished art portrays Tanjiro Kamado next to the Water Pillar, Giyu Tomioka. The collector's package is complemented by a three-sided hard case, an exclusive digipak and a CD containing the soundtrack of the feature film mixed in stereo.

Collectible extras and behind-the-scenes commentary

In addition to including an additional video disc with the short film And Then to Infinity Castle, a 16-page booklet in accordion format and another booklet full of anecdotes from the anime industry's technical team, the edition will integrate special audio recordings titled Kimetsu Enroku.
