After days
of absolute uncertainty, we finally have good news for lovers of yuri romance.
If you've been following the drama behind the production of Let Me Fix
You, you probably thought the project was completely dead after the sudden
collapse of its original studio. However, the team of animators has just
confirmed that they managed to rescue the work from the ashes and have
scheduled its official premiere in short format for mid-June.
A ransom
with a very high price
But not
everything is rosy. In their recent statement, the producers were brutally
honest with the community. They confirmed that the animated adaptation is
already secured and ready to air, but unfortunately they had to make massive
cuts. The initial vision for this franchise was much bigger and more
ambitious, including additional episodes and expansions that would delve deeper
into the manga universe. Due to serious leadership problems and controversies
at their former production company, the team had to put the handbrake on and
settle for releasing only what they had almost finished so as not to fail the
fans.
To everyone who is looking forward to Kimi wo Tsumugu.

After finishing our internal discussions, we decided that we will still publish whatever is already started and paid, but without Buta Productions or FAR involved anymore. The team around ani will do their best to finish…
Hope for
a bright future
Far from
giving up, the creators are using this June premiere as a real lifeline. The
main goal right now is to find a new animation studio that is
willing to take the reins and continue the work on a large scale. The
transparency with which producers have handled this crisis has been widely
applauded on forums, as they preferred to be totally honest about their current
limitations rather than promise content that they could not deliver in the
short term.
Knowing all
the immense effort that the creative team made to separate their art from the
scandals of their former directors
