The Art of Keeping Up Appearances at School

This adaptation of the light novel written by Yusaku Sakaishi and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe is shaping up to be one of the most relaxing and fun options of the season. Unlike other school anime where the protagonist suffers constant rejections, here the main dynamic lies in the immense contrast between the public facet of our heroine and the disaster that is behind closed doors. It promises to be a story of sweet romance, retellings of life and everyday situations that is sure to win over lovers of the genre.

Synopsis of Rich Girl Caretaker

The life of Itsuki Tomonari, a completely ordinary high school student, takes a drastic turn when he is involved in a strange kidnapping incident. As a result of this chaotic entanglement, he ends up becoming the secret caretaker of Hinako Konohana, the young heiress of one of the largest and most powerful business conglomerates in all of Japan. Although at school Hinako projects the image of being a bright, elegant and absolutely perfect girl, the reality is very different: in private she is an incredibly lazy person with no skills to survive on her own. Determined to protect her and help her maintain her façade in the face of strict society, Itsuki dedicates himself to caring for her in the shadows. Little by little, the distant heiress will begin to depend on him much more than they both expected.
