little later than planned. The anime of Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? announced
on June 25 its delay to January 2027, while adding new voices to

Chihara's friend, Chinatsu Iwakura, who acts as her general
producer for the musical activities. Chihara's costumes as an artist were
designed by Natsumi Sano. The announcement includes a teaser for
the project.

Direction is in charge of Yasuaki Fujii at the
Synergy SP studio, with Keiichiro Ochi supervising

About Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san?
Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? (Jirai nandesu
ka? Chihara-san) is
a manga by Ryon published on the GANMA! service
since June 2021. The series won the "Next Impact Comic" award at the
second Rakuten Kobo E-book Awards of 2024. The story follows Kuroki,
a high school student who ends up sitting next to Mai Chihara at
the start of a new semester. Chihara is known among her peers as a jirai-kei
girl for her gothic fashion, jet black hair, and intense gaze, attributes
associated with a hyper-feminine and dark aesthetic that often carries with it
a reputation for an unstable personality. When Kuroki accidentally catches her
eye, she discovers that it's not at all what the rumors suggest: behind that
intimidating appearance is a surprisingly sweet, if slightly particular, girl.
