Falling in
love for the first time can shake the whole world. In the case of Kuroe
Akaishi, he does it quite literally. Kaiju Girl Caramelise has
just released its second trailer confirming its premiere for July 2,
2026, and the video reveals both the opening and ending of the season while
offering a broader look at the tone of this story where shojo romance is mixed
with something considerably bigger and more monstrous.
The opening
is called "Otome Kaijū" and is in charge of METANICK. The
ending theme "Otome no Honki" is performed by HoneyWorks
feat. HaKoniwalily, a name that the shojo anime community already knows
well for its history of emotional themes in romance series. The trailer shows
more of the dynamic between Kuroe and Arata Minami,
the popular boy she falls in love with, reinforcing the tension between the
protagonist's feelings and the powers those feelings awaken in her.

- Hikari Senga as Kuroe Akaishi (One

About
Kaiju Girl Caramelise
Kaiju
Girl Caramelise (Otome Kaijū Carameliser) is a manga by Spica Aoki published
in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine since 2018, with
over 230,000 copies in circulation and its tenth volume
scheduled for July 22. Yen Press publishes the series in
English. The story follows Kuroe Akaishi, a high school girl who
has been avoiding social contact for years due to a mysterious condition that
makes it difficult to connect with other people. Everything changes when she
falls in love with Arata Minami, the most popular boy in her class,
and that first love awakens a dormant power within her: the ability to
transform into a kaiju when her emotions run wild. What promised to be a story
of first love becomes a constant battle between heart and reason, with
consequences that go far beyond the normal.
