A policeman with powers that go far beyond the
human and a fellow expert in judo. The combination isn't exactly standard in
the procedure manual, but that's precisely the beauty of Super Psychic
Policeman Chojo. The anime based on Shun Numa's manga
released its teaser and promotional image on June 18, while also revealing the
full cast of the series scheduled to premiere in October 2026.
The video was posted on the official website
and is focused on introducing the voice actors chosen for the main and
supporting characters. The teaser introduces the central premise of the series
and the tone that the adaptation will have, showing the protagonist duo and the
rest of the group that surrounds the police officers in their daily activities.
The Production Team
The direction is in charge of Junichi
Yamamoto at the Arvo Animation studio, with Hayashi
Mori supervising the series and writing the scripts. The character
design is the work of Masakatsu Sasaki.
About Super Psychic Policeman Chojo
Super Psychic Policeman Chojo(Chojun! Chojo
Senpai) is a
manga by Shun Numa that debuted as a one-shot in April 2023
before beginning its regular serialization in February 2024. The series
concluded in June 2025 after completing eight compiled volumes, with the
seventh and eighth final volumes published in September of that year. The story
follows Meguru Chojo, a senior police officer with psychic
abilities that far exceed human limits, and his partner Nao Ippongi,
a judo expert. Together they deal with unusual situations in a way that no one
in the department could exactly define as "by the book."
