The most chaotic and colorful garbage dump in
the lively industry is getting ready to reopen its doors. The official website
for the animated adaptation of the popular Gachiakuta manga,
created by the talented Kei Urana, surprised the community by
releasing an exciting first video look at what will be its long-awaited second
season. This preview comes to support the announcement made at the end of 2025
and promises to maintain the overflowing urban aesthetic that made the series a
true jewel of modern shonen.
Along with the electrifying video trailer,
the production committee shared the special promotional
illustrations that they were handing out in brochure format during past
international conventions. On the one hand, attendees of the Anime Expo
received art dedicated exclusively to the character of Zanka, while fans who
attended the Comic Exhibition in Taiwan were able to get a graphic focused on
Enjin. Both designs reinforce the distinctive visual identity where the
graffiti of the artist Hideyoshi Ando plays a key role within
the atmosphere of the project.
The Bones studio holds the bar high
Although there is still no exact release date
set on the calendar, the peace of mind for the fandom lies in
the fact that the renowned Bones studio will keep the reins of
animation. The first installment had the skillful direction of Fumihiko
Suganuma, scripts supervised by the sought-after Hiroshi Seko,
character designs by Satoshi Ishino and the powerful
soundtrack by the master Taku Iwasaki. Considering that the printed
work published in Weekly Shonen Magazine already has nineteen
compilation volumes after its release in 2022, the material to adapt
spectacular battles is completely superfluous.
