Reincarnating
in a novel as the chubby, selfish villain who ends up executed is already a bad
start to life, but trying to go on a diet and be a good person only to end up
being harassed by the final villainous prince is a whole new level of chaos.
The Odebu franchise Akujo ni Tensei Shitara, Nazeka Last Boss Oujisama and
Shuuchaku Sareteimasu presented their first full promotional video,
revealing that their animated adaptation will officially hit screens in January
2027.
The
released trailer offered a first look at the animation and confirmed the voice
actors who will bring the supporting characters to life. Actor Shunichi Toki
joins the cast playing Lewis, the kingdom's first prince, while Fuka Izumi
will lend her voice to Adele, the protagonist's younger sister. They join the
previously announced lead voices: Haruka Shiraishi in the role of Celine
and Takeo Otsuka playing Wilfred, the fearsome yandere prince who will
not leave the protagonist alone.
The
production of the anime will be in charge of Studio Lings with the
support of the company Infinite. The direction falls to Naoyuki Kuzuya,
who will have Shusaku Kato as assistant director. The scripts and story
supervision are in the hands of Mitsutaka Hirota, while the character
design is a joint effort between Nozomi Ikuyama, Fumino Kakihata,
and Yukiko Sekita. In the sound section, the musical composition of Tsubasa
Ito and the sound direction of Ryosuke Naya stand out, accompanied
by the art direction of Yuri Takagi and Keito Watanabe.
