Katase released the manga based on a 2011 novel launched by Shirodaira (Spiral, Vampire Juujikai, Zetsuen no Tempest) in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine R in April 2015. A anime adaptation produced by Crunchyroll was recently released.
Synopsis of In / Specter:
When she was still just a girl, Kotoko was kidnapped by a yokai. These spirits made her a powerful intermediate world between the spirit and the human world, but this power came at a price: an eye and a leg. Now, years later, she watches over dangerous yokai as she develops feelings for a young man named Kuro, who is also special: an incident with a yokai has given him healing powers. He is shocked when Kotoko asks him to team up to handle the renegade yokai, preserving the fine line between reality and the supernatural.
