Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari or also known by its English name The Rising of The Shield Hero is a series of light novels written by Aneko Yusagi.
The light novel had an anime adaptation that was co-produced by Crunchyroll and that recently announced a second and third season.
Synopsis for Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari:
Naofumi Iwatani finds himself one day in a parallel world where he has been summoned together with other people to become the saviors together. Each of the heroes appeared with their own legendary gear set upon being summoned, and Naofumi had his shield touched. Naofumi is shy, they soon consider him the weakest and on the third day they betray him, falsely accuse him and steal from him. Forgotten by the hand of God for everyone from kings to the people, Naofumi spirals into anger and revenge. This is how his new destiny begins in this parallel world.
