Kyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto started the Boruto manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in May 2016. The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime premiered in April 2017, and is currently still airing.

Masashi Kishimoto launched the Naruto manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1999, ending it in November 2014. The play has two television anime, the last ending in March 2017, plus several movies, OVAS, and games.
