Retailer Rakuten listed the cover of Kadokawa's May issue of Dengeki Bunko Magazine's May issue as the latest. The edition will be released on April 10 and the cover does not specify whether the magazine will continue its serialization digitally or if it will be completely discontinued.
ASCII Media Works launched the first issue of Dengeki Bunko Magazine in December 2007 as a successor to Dengeki HP magazine. The magazine began a digital edition in 2014 and since its first serialization has been based on the publication of light novels or light novel manga adaptations.
To date, the magazine published the manga Sword Art Online Project Alicization and Sword Art Online: Girls Ops, while the novels Shachou, Battle no Jikan Desu! and Adachi to Shimamura.
The Kadokawa publisher also recently ceased publication of Dengeki PlayStation magazine in March, establishing it as an irregular publication.
