Luminous Witches anime reveals new promotional video

Kadokawa revealed a new promotional video for the Renmei Kuugun Koukuu Mahou Ongakutai Luminous Witches anime.

The anime will premiere in 2021. A group of idols based on this new project debuted last year and their first single, "Flying Skyhigh" will be released on May 27. This anime was announced during the event for the tenth anniversary of the Strike Witches franchise.

Earlier this month, idol unit Luminous Witches released its first music video for the single “Flying Skyhigh”. For its part, Strike Witches is a multimedia project created by Fumikane Shimada and which began with the publication of a manga written by Yoshiyuki Kazumi and which was canceled with only two volumes.

Subsequently, the first pilot episode was released as an OVA in January 2017, with the first season finally airing in July 2008, followed by a second season in July 2010. A third season is slated to premiere in October. .

Synopsis
The story centers on the unique squad of "witches who don't fight." Instead, the squad is in charge of singing and performing music to protect the smiles of those who have suffered due to the Neuroi.
