Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi light novels celebrate one million copies in circulation

On the official Twitter account for the Kadokawa publisher's Sneaker Bunko label, he revealed that the series of light novels written by Rui Tsukiyo and illustrated by Souken Haga, Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi has exceeded one million copies in circulation.


Tsukiyo publishes the light novels since 2016 with six volumes to date, and whose full title is Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi: Sokushi Mahou to Skill Copy no Choetsu Heal. Additionally, the same author began publishing a manga adaptation in 2017, of which five compilation volumes have been published.

An anime adaptation was announced in November 2019, but no new details have been revealed about it. The production team for this adaptation includes:

  • Takuya Asaoka directs the anime at TNK studios.
  • Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is in charge of series composition.
  • Junji Goto is in charge of character design.


Synopsis of Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi

"Healing sorcerers cannot fight alone." Keare, who has always been haunted by this logic, was always exploited over and over again by others.

But one day he noticed what was beyond healing magic, and became convinced that healing sorcerers are the strongest class of all. However, when he discovered this potential it was too late. Therefore, he decides to go back in time for four years, ready to rebuild his life.

This is the heroic story of the healing sorcerer who became the strongest warrior, using knowledge of his past life and healing magic.
