Twin Engine creates EOTA, a group of seven animation studios

Anime planning and production company Twin Engine (which has been in charge of series like Dororo, Vinland Saga and Pet recently) announced during a live broadcast that it has established the EOTA studio team.

EOTA is short for “Engine of the Animation” and is made up of the producers and creators of Studio Colorido, Geno Studio, Lay-duce, Peakys, Daisy, Filmony, and Team Yamahitsuji.

Representative Twin Engine Director Kouji Yamamoto explained during the live broadcast that the anime industry is experiencing a "witch hunt" due to the closure of several companies due to aggressive competition. EOTA will allow studios to pool their resources and work together to produce animation content for worldwide distribution, create animation shorts for social media and other platforms, and form a working group that can continue to produce even in adverse circumstances.
