Through official media, it was reported that the series of light novels written by Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrated by Kohaku Kuroboshi, Kino no Tabi - the Beautiful World will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

In commemoration, different products will be released, including a commemorative book, a Blu-ray Box re-release of the anime adaptations and a special drama CD that will be included in the package.

Keiichi Sigsawa began publishing the Kino no Tabi - the Beautiful World light novel series through the Dengeki Bunko imprint in March 2000, and a total of 22 volumes have been published to date. The play has inspired numerous adaptations to other media, such as manga, video games, and anime.

The first anime adaptation was produced by A.C.G.T. and released in April 2003, with thirteen episodes. Subsequently, in October 2017, a new adaptation produced by the Lerche studios was released.

Synopsis
The protagonist, Kino, accompanied by her talking motorcycle, Hermes, travels through a mystical world full of diverse landscapes and a variety of people. She only spends three days and two nights in each place, without exception, under the idea that three days are enough to learn the most important thing about the place, although in reality she does it so as not to get attached to the place.

For your protection, Kino also carries a .44 caliber revolver that uses liquid explosives instead of gunpowder, as well as a .22 caliber automatic pistol. In this world, technology is quite advanced, and its level varies from country to country, with some magical elements.
