Seiyuu Kotori Koiwai opens her own recording studio in her home

Voice actress Kotori Koiwai has just become a voice acting pioneer by building her own recording studio in her home. The actress showed photos of her studio through her Twitter account.
Koiwai ensures that you can record narration, dialogue, and audio recordings from the comfort of your home. Its microphone is a Neumann U87Ai, and its installations are completely isolated from noise. Furthermore, it can provide 48kHz / 24bit audio quality as well as 96kHz / 32bit. It even has Pro Tools and Cubase audio editing software. It also has a Focusrite ISA 430 MkII channel, a Universal Audio 1176LN limiting amplifier and a Neve 33609 compressor.

In his post, Koiwai commented, "If you find that recording in a studio is difficult these days, please give me a call," he continued, "I am doing my best to simulate a professional studio."


Koiwai also released a series of videos with a soundtrack through YouTube to "relieve" the stress of people who are confined to their homes as a preventive measure against the health contingency in Japan. The 30-minute video features audio tracks and synthesizers.


Kotori Koiwai is recognized in the voice acting industry for her roles as Renge Miyauchi in Non Non Biyori, Elaine in Nanatsu no Taizai, Nono Daichi in Aikatsu! and Kana Altair in Soul Eater.
