His first project will be the story of Nankichi Niimi, Tebukuro wo Kai ni, also known as Buying Mittens.
The story was published in 1943, after Niimi's death the same year. The synopsis is described as follows:

When a cold hell hit the forest, a little fox wakes up one morning to the magic of the first snow. However, their fun in the snow is cut short when their cold, clammy feet turn pink. What she needs, according to her mother, are small wool gloves to cover her little legs.

It is then that he decides to start a journey to a human village where he can acquire this product, but on his way the little fox will learn that humans are more complicated creatures than he thought.

Buying Mittens is a classic story that has been passed down for generations among the children of Japan. Written by one of the most beloved Japanese authors in history, it has a legacy that transcends through time and cultures.

Yuuki commented that he was inspired to do these readings after having seen a president read a storybook for children confined to their homes, the above presumed to refer to the President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin.

His partner, Nozomi Kasuga opened a temporary YouTube channel aimed also at people in quarantine, while Kotori Koiwai released a free soundtrack album on YouTube with "warm themes" to make people happy.
