Volume 1 for the standard version includes a disc with the first 13 episodes of the series and is now available for sale and immediate delivery. Volume 2 of the standard version will include the second half of the series and will go on sale starting June 30.
Volumes 1 and 2 of the limited edition will go on sale to the general public during the next month of September and January 2021, respectively. This version will include a CD with the soundtrack of the series, a set of cards and a brochure with character designs. All this packed in a special box with illustrations by the character designer Akira Matsushima.The series will feature audio in Japanese and English. Also, English subtitles will be added for the Japanese audio version.
The distribution of both formats will be handled by the Aniplex brand in the United States in association with the streaming company Funimation.
Koyaharu Gotouge began publishing the Kimetsu no Yaiba manga in Shueisha publisher Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2016. The publisher published the nineteenth compilation volume on February 9.
The play inspired a 26-episode anime adaptation released in April 2019, and produced by Ufotable Studios. Additionally, the film Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-hen is confirmed, which will adapt the "Arc of the Infinite Train" and will be released on October 16.
