With the Ghibli Museum currently closed as part of measures to prevent further COVID-19 infections, fans' desire to enjoy food based on the films was cut short.
However, the animation studio released a series of kitchen and dining items based on its franchises. The launch includes the hashtag # お う ち カ フ ェ (Ouchi Cafe), which translates as "Coffee at Home" as part of the advertising campaign.
Tonari no Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro)
Majo no Takkyuubin (Kiki: Home Delivery)
Porco Rosso
Howl no Ugoku Shiro (The Moving Castle)
Mimi wo Sumaseba (Whispers of the Heart)
Tenkuu no Shiro Rapyuta (The Castle in the Sky)
Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Chihiro's Journey)
The glasses, (which are priced at 1,000 yen each, about $ 9) and the dishes can be purchased at the Donguri Kyowakoku physical stores and online.
