Sword Art Online: Kirito and Asuna inspire teddy bears

In collaboration with the Steiff line of teddy bears, the Sword Art Online franchise announced the launch of a series of limited-edition teddy bears inspired by the characters Kirito and Asuna.


In this collaboration commemorating the 10th anniversary of the franchise as a whole, the Kirito-inspired plush features its black swordsman outfit, while Asuna's stuffed animal features the Knights of the Brotherhood of Blood guild uniform.

The Dengekiya online store will be accepting reservations for these products until before July 31, while its launch is scheduled for September 2020. The price will be 45,000 yen (approximately $ 421).

The franchise is one of the most successful light novel series in Japan, considered the light novel of the past decade by fans.
